League Structure and Fixtures for 2025 Season
League Structure Fixtures Division 1 Division 2 Division 3 Division 4 Division 5 League Rules 2025
We welcome two new clubs, Harperbury BC and Pavilion BC, Potten End and Bovingdon have entered a third team.
That leaves 43 clubs and to accommodate those, we have restructured the league to 5 Divisions. So all the clubs that want to play in the league can do so.
There will be 9 teams in Divisions 1, 2, 3 and 4 and 7 teams in division 5. The League Structure (above) shows the teams in each league. Under league rules, two teams have to be promoted to a higher division after the results of last season, and the required number of teams have been moved to a lower division to make up the structure.
All divisions have an odd number of teams, and so there are two weeks in the season when a team does not play.
Division 5 has 7 teams, which will mean that their fixtures would complete after 14 weeks, so 4 more weeks of fixtures have been randomly assigned to that division, making it up to the usual 18 weeks, and a final week has been added to ensure all teams play the same number of matches.
There are two changes of venue.
Royal British Legion BC will play al l their home matches at Mill End BC
Rickmansworth Yellow will play all their home games at Rickmansworth BC (they previously played all their matches away)
